Today is the 4th day of school after school holiday. We had a change in the timetable because it is a new semester and some new subject such as home economic and project work will be added to our timetable. I felt happy that there are home economic but i am also sad that there are no design and technology. I like both of these two subject as it is fun and interesting so i had not decided which 1 of the both subject i want to take the next year during secondary three.

It is still the first week of school after school holiday so we don't have much homework yet But this semester would be a tough one and there would be a lot of homework and project after that and i will work hard to achieve what i want to achieve. I hope that i would go to the either the 1st or the second class. I will pay more attention in class so that i can know what the teacher is teaching us.

I am not sure why recently i cannot pay attention in class and i am not interested with the lesson even though it is the subject i like best such as mathematics and also science. I think it it because the class position is different from last semester and so i cannot concentrate. Although i am not siting so at the back anymore and i can listen better to what the teacher is teaching than last semester, but i still don't like the position that i am sitting at. Too many people are making noise and it is irritating. That will cause we to be not so attentive in class. Unlike last semester, i am sitting alone at the back so there would not be some many people disturbing me but i cannot hear properly to what the teacher is saying. i had learnt that, at any position that i am sitting, there will be a advantage of sitting there and there will also be a disadvantage of sitting there. There are no position that are so perfect that it is a excellent place and there are no disadvantages of siting there.

Last Saturday, I go to work as usual. After my work, my sister, some of my friends and I went out to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. All of us have fun during the celebration.

Actually before the celebration, I do not wish to go because one of my friends is still working and cannot go so my sister and I do not want to go too. The other reason why we do not want to go is also because the birthday girl is also bringing her friend, her sister and her brother that both my sister and I do not know and we are not sure whether it would be fun or not. But we decided to go, because if we did not go we wouldn’t know whether it is fun or not. If it is fun and we did not go, we would regret it. If it is not fun and we did go, at least we did go. if it is fun and we did go, we would be very happy. So after all, it is about whether we had tried or not. So long as u did tried, u would never regret it. Because of this celebration, I had learnt something from it.
We went to play pool although I did not know how to play, we I tried playing. After that, we went to MacDonald to look for the friend that is still working. We wait for her to finish her work and we went to eat together. It is the birthday girl that treated us the meal. After that, my sister and I went home because it is 8 plus already and we had told our parent that we will go home by latest 9 plus so we had to go home at that time. And they went clubbing. We really had fun that day and i would never forget the happiness that we all had before.

Today is the first day of my work in MacDonald. It is also the first time i work. It is quite fun although it is quite tiring. I had talk to some of the people working in MacDonald but not really so close. They are friendly and helpful as they had help me in quite a lot with the work, the things that i don't quite understand and also the things that i do not know. I found out that the manager and the staffs can chat like friends; they are very close and they do not mind whether who are the staffs or who are the manager.

My job is to help clean the tables, sweep and mop the floor, and also wipe the door. i need to walk around the MacDonald and look for things that need to be clean. So this is quite a tiring job, but also quite a fun job. I had know 1 old lady, which is the staff here that are also in charge of cleaning, she is friendly and she had help me a lot with the work and she taught me how to do things properly.

After the four hours of work, i feel a bit tired but not very tired. I then went out with some of my classmates and also some of their friends, we went to play game. After the game, i felt that my leg and also the muscle is quite pain. I then went home after that.

My twin sister is also working there, but today's shift is not the same. After my shift, it would be her shift. We need to photocopy some of the things for the manager so i went home and photocopy it. i den went back to MacDonald ,around 8, to find my sister as my sister end her work at 8. I also gave the manager the things that i need to give.When the manager and the staffs first saw my sister and me together, they would ask how old are we and if we say the same age they would know that we are twin. They then would ask who is younger and who is older but when my sister say that she is older, they are surprised. It is because, they think that i look older. From this, I once again find that they are friendly.

After that, the manager ask us to go for a injection because we will be working at MacDonald so we need a injection. He told us where to find the place for the injection, the place is just nearby. When my sister and I am waiting for the people to call us to go to a room for injection, i am very scared because i am scared that it would be very painful. My sister is only a bit scared. From this, i had know that my sister is more daring than me and i feel that i am more timid as i am scare of this and that, but my sister is not. When we reached the room for the injection, i felt more scared. My sister had the injection first then until me. She felt only a bit pain but i feel that it is very painful. And i almost cried. I didn't cry is because there are quite a lot of people there and it would be quite embarrassing for me to cry.We went home after this.

From today, i had learnt quite a lot. I had learn to be more daring during working. I had found a bad point about me, which is timid. i would change this character so that i would be more daring too. I had learnt more about my sister, which is she is daring.

Today is counted as the starting of June holiday.Got my Mid-Year result today.My form teacher,Ms Ho,spoke to my mother ,she did not say much about me.

I am quite disappointed with my Mid-Year result although i got first in class and second in level. My result had decreased with the compare of last year's result. I thought that i would get better result than last year's result but i did not so i am quite disappointed with that. Although the result of some of the subject had improved, but some had also decreased. I think that i can do much better than that and this cause me to be more disappointed.I could have done much better if I had do my revision earlier, and also revise after every lesson or revise at home almost everyday. From now on, i strive to score a much better result during the CA2 and also during the End of year examination.

I know that some of my classmates are not happy that i am the first in class but i am not disappointed with that. They may think that it is useless to score so well for a girl, they think that boy can do much better than a girl but i won't mind how they see me. It is because, i know that i had work quite hard for the result. I think that a women can also be a successful person.

I had also won a half box of chocolates because during a fun and exciting course, PET Rocket , Bei fen and my rocket is the nearest to the aim so we won the chocholates (each 1 half a box ). I think that so long as we have a aim and work hard towards it, we can achieve good result from it. I had learned some useful thing from the course.=)

During this March holiday, I had to go back to school three times. I go back for Red Cross training two times and IT course 1 time.

Speech day is coming so we had to go back for training two times. Our training is getting tougher and tougher. The training won't be so tough after the Speech day. I had train hard so that I can perform well during the speech day.

I think that the IT course is very useful. It is about mathematics. It can be use in doing project works and also maybe in homework. I think that the school would give us a project work based in what we learn during this IT course. Actually going back to school three times is not counted as many because some of my friends went back to school for about four to five times during the March holiday.

I had quite a lot of homeworks and also project works to do during the March holiday. The project is about the trip to Sungei Buloh during Growth Camp. It involved many projects together as one.

My group members and I meet to do the project. First, we meet outside school then we go to Bishan library to do and discuss about the project. Because one of the group member is sick and did not come, many of the information is with her so we did not discuss until very long. We planned to maybe meet again. After we had discuss finish the project, we went to play.

During the second last day of the March holiday which is Saturday, my sister, my brother and I went to Ang Mo Kio to finish up some of the homework that are not completed and then we went to borrow a book. We go until seven plus then we went to a shopping mall nearby to buy a birthday present for my cousin and then we went home. During the last day of March holiday which is Sunday, my father, my mother, my sister and I went to my grandfather house to celebrate my cousin's birthday. We went home at at about ten plus.

Overall. this March holiday is quite fun and also quite boring.

I have fun during this Growth camp. We played a lot of games . This whole camp is very fun although the whole lower secondary are being scolded by the instructor for being too noisy and are not co-operating with them. I had learned many camp fire songs during this camp.
The first day of camp, we played a lot of games. While the second of camp, it is about hard work. We had to do many projects in just a few hours. We had to plan well so that we can do it in time. Teamwork is also very important during this few hours. We had to make tent and all this is about teamwork again. Without teamwork, one people cannot finish all this work alone.
I had learn that we must do things fast and do not do things slowly or do things last minute. I had also learn that we must plan things well. I had learn how to co-operate and work together with my teammates so as to be able achieve something. All the games that our instructor had taught us is to let us learn how to work as a team and work together so as to achieve something and to win.
After this camp, I know more about my friends, of which one is a hardworking one and which one is not. Overall, I had achieved a lot from this camp and i am looking forward for a better camp next year.

My name is Low Yu Ping, I am fourteen this year. I am from Respect 2. My index number is 11. My birthday is on 27 January. My primary school is Townsville primary. I like my primary school and the teachers over there alot. I miss my primary school and the teachers over there. I would go and visit the school when there are special events going on in Townsville. My CCA in my primary school is art and craft( batik painting). My CCA in my secondary school is Red Cross Youth. I like both my primary school and secondary CCA. Both my CCA is very fun. I even make a shirt during my primary school CCA using batik painting. Although the CCA in my secondary school is quite tough now but I still like it. I like to eat fast-food but cannot eat too much because my parents does not allow. I like to eat home-food too because the food my mother cook is really very yummy. I like to play badminton with my sister although I am not a sporty person. I had set a target to do exercise at least 2 times a week. I have also high expectation for my mathematics, science and also home economics. I like dogs, cats and also those small pets but I do not raise them because my parent does not allow.
